MEET ZGEN – THE ZELL GLOBAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP NETWORK

The Zell Global Entrepreneurship Network (ZGEN) is a vast alumni network connecting more than 500 global changemakers from the Zell Entrepreneurship Program at Reichman University, the Zell Fellows Program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and the Zell/Lurie Institute at University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.

The ZGEN community provides Zell alumni with invaluable connections, opportunities and mentorship. The network enables nascent entrepreneurs to learn and grow from a wide-ranging and highly-experienced community of innovators. The ZGEN community was officially launched in 2016 with a kick-off summit event that included a keynote speech by Sam Zell, networking activities, and a weekend retreat which brought together Zell alumni from across the globe.

The Zell Scholars Program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management (ZSP)

Introduced in 2013, ZSP is designed to be a unique, applied entrepreneurial experience for a select number of MBA candidates with a passion for new venture creation. The program combines coaching, fieldwork, experiential learning and business services to provide aspiring entrepreneurs with the tools and resources they need to develop, launch and grow successful ventures.

The Zell Lurie Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies at University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business

ZLI was established in 1999 as one of the first full programs dedicated to entrepreneurial education in the U.S. The institute's real-world approach seeks to prepare students for entrepreneurial careers as leaders for new venture creation and growth. The institute provides significant support and resources for students to take the knowledge learned in the classroom to launch a business while earning their degrees. ZLI is consistently ranked among the top graduate programs in entrepreneurship education by The Princeton Review and Entrepreneur Magazine.

Being an entrepreneur is not just about what you do, it’s about how you think.”
